Strom Thurmond has died!
Thursday, 26 June 2003 by Jacob TomawThe 100th year was his last. I will never forget watching C-SPAN2 once and Sen. Thurmand telling some young turk of a Senator to “talk into the machine.” “The machine” was the the microphone, which the late Senator likely remembered being installed.
Here is a tribute to his life.
