The littlest Cub fans just do not understand
Friday, 17 October 2003 by Jacob TomawTonight I was on the bus. There was a couple with their son. He was maybe 4 or 5. His father was telling another man that over the last few weeks they had been watching the Cubs on television. The child had learned to cheer “Go Cubs Go!” The father has tried to explain the Cubs are no longer going to be playing, but it is non sequitur for the child. Every morning he wakes up cheering.
