I just noticed I had not posted anything in almost a week! It seems like I posted something just yesterday. I blame my mother. I need to stop visiting her.

Friend of TFL, Nina, sent me this Click For Cans site from Campbell’s. All you do is vote for your favorite NFL team and Campbell’s will donate a can of Chunky Soup to charities across the country.

The Great One says what we all know deep in our hearts, TV Sucks! However he also says something I can see, but am less willing to admit, TV is dying.

Dick Wolf is the Angel of Death

Tonight?s ‘vic’ on the new Law & Order was beaten. This beating caused coronary failure. Nearly exactly what happened to the man in Cincinnati how was hit by the police. I think television genius and producer of L&O, Dick Wolf, has a master plan.

Job News

Wednesday, 3 December 2003 Jacob Tomaw

This happened a couple weeks ago, but I have accepted a contingent offer with Software Architects. This means that they want me to work for them; however there is no project for me to work on at this time. When they have a project, I will become a full time employee. I am still free to look for work in the mean time. If I find one then we amicably split.

News you can use.

I have joined the masses that use The Daily Show with Jon Stewart as their primary news source. Last night, Jon had a story about the holiday shopping season. With a lovely picture of the risen Lord, Jon reported, ?Thanksgiving weekend shopping only represents 10% of the total shopping for the season. So, it will still be weeks before we know if we have bought enough to please Jesus.? Funny and accurate.

Then there was a report by ?Dr.? Steven Colbert on the new Medicare bill. Steven said that the bill is a travesty. He was willing to pay for medical care for the old folks when they where ?The Greatest Generation,? but now they are Baby Boomers and Hippies and the free ride is over. They took enough drugs in their youth. I agree.

I am back in the USA. I just awoke from a great 12 hour sleep. I arrived home 24 hours after waking up in Freiburg. The trip was great. Spending time with Joscelynn was great. The Vaterland was great. Details to follow, as well as the expert insight you expect from The Flatiron Life.
