VCo shortfall
Tuesday, 6 April 2004 by Jacob TomawCounty Auditor Ruth Ann Swinford may have known about the now $2.7 million shortfall over a month before she told the County Board! Swinford says that she will no longer do any tax abatements for Duke Energy, even though it is one of the duties of her office. I am sure the voters of Vermillion County will help her keep that promise in a couple years.
