Britney spears is planing a Kabbalah wedding. I wonder is the Yichud room made it into Kabbalah. I know I am going to start a Tomaw tradition with it!
The cubs should bring in the goat to eat the chunks of upperdeck that do not hit people. As for the ones that do hit people…Maybe two goats should clean up the incident.
For the 4th time in 3 weeks I left Contique’s headlights on and killed my battery. The first time was at King’s Island. I was able to get a jump from a friend of a friend. A couple of weeks ago I left might lights on after work, but noticed them on before I went to bed. I shut them off but she would not start. I was saved though in the morning because she miraculously started. Then last week I left them on again, and did not discover it until I was ready for work the next morning. I was able to catch a ride with my roommate and use his car to jump mine after work.
Then came this weekend. I parked in the long term parking lot at the Columbus Airport. As soon as I stepped in the terminal I knew I had left my lights on, but I did not have time to go back and turn them off. I knew the whole weekend that I would have a dead car waiting for me back in Columbus. Thankfully , I was able to be jumped by a nice guy who happens to be an electrician at an auto repair shop. He suggested I buy a better set of jumper cables. I am hoping I will never need to use my cables again.
I have developed this nasty habit of turning my lights on every time I get in the car. However, I never developed the habit of turning my lights off. Also Contique does not consistently ding when the door is open and lights on. Joscelynn says that I have spoiled Contique and I should put her in her place. She is always right, so I probably should. I am not sure what to do.
Jerry Goldsmith died Wednesday at his home in Beverly Hills. He composed the score for many TV shows and movie. The music from “Patton”, “The Waltons”, and “Basic Instinct”. He also gave us one of the greatest scores of all time, that of STTMP or “Star Trek: The Motion Picture” to you unlearned folks. This theme when on to be the use for “Star Trek: The Next Generation” (STTNG). Many a time I have stood from my chair and conducted the music as we take a tour through the Solar System and listen to Cpt. Picard tells us about the mission of USS Enterprise NCC-1701-D.
AT&T is going to stop looking to new residential customers. They say the, not so little any more, baby bells are not competing fairly and the government is letting them do it. How much compassion can you have for them though? For nearly the century they were the government mandated monopoly phone company. How fair was that?
It is interesting though that the government is lifting price restriction that were imposed on the baby bells it help AT&T to compete. These restrictions were on the phone lines that AT&T had install over its century of dominance but that the government had given ownership to the local baby.
Mr. Peebles is the smallest cat in the world. And he lives in Illinois! I don’t ususally do pictures but come on, he is just so cute!

The Great One thinks Dr. Huxtable has the right prescription.
It is the not having sex part that is hard. Rush Limbaugh is fond of saying “Abstinence works every time it’s tried.” Some people don;t think it is fair to tell people to not have sex if they do not want to die from AIDS. They say we should only teach people to use condoms, so they can have all the sex they want and it be safer.
I think that we should follow Uganda’s ABC policy that teaches abstinence first and condoms last, because it works. When this was suggested at the AIDS conference this week Congresswoman Barbara Lee said, “Abstaining from sex is oftentimes not a choice, and therefore their only hope in preventing HIV infection is the use of condoms.” If you did not choose to have sex, then how exactly are you going to choose to use a condom?
Sure the CIA was wrong. When the CIA was wrong in saying Iraq was not buying Nuclear material from Niger, that means President Bush was right.
