A Vivid Reddish Orange

These are stories with Vermillion County in the story, but the story is actually about Vermilion County Illinois. I am sure the people in Danville or Georgetown do not see what the big deal is, but I am sure their Hoosier counterparts do.
Today there is one of these storied. WTHI, Channel 10, in Terre Haute reported about democrats watching the DNC in Danville. They were referred to as “Vermillion County, Illinois Democrats.” Tow things were wrong there. First there is no place known as Vermillion County, Illinois. Second, we all know that the Terre Haute TV stations are afraid to cross the Wabash and report on Vermillion County, Indiana.
So, being the pain in the butt that I am (which I learned from my mother), I wrote to WTHI. I did not expect a response. However I received one and they have fixed the error! Read the corrected story here.
