I met her in St. Louis

Monday, 25 October 2004 Jacob Tomaw

Jos and I spent last weekend in St. Louis. We were visiting her cousin, Rachel, who lives there. We had a great time.

Friday Rachel’s boss had forwarded her this funny/frightening TV commercial for a European employment agency. The gist of the ad is, “how do you deal with stress from a job you don’t like?” You have to see it, and it is safe for work.

I would suggest you download it before playing it, but it might work for you just by clicking on it. To download in IE, right click the link and choose save target as. Then you can find it and play it as many times as you want, and you will want to see it a few times. It is that good!

But that’s not what I said…

Dana emailed me, at bestbubbyever@tomaw.com, today saying, “Kristoffer did ask mom and Brett’s permission first!!”

I was not contesting that. But I would think after 21 years of hard work, I would have some say in the matter. I know my 2 other readers must agree with me, right?

My Little Sister is getting married!

Kris Gray asked Dana to marry him Friday afternoon. (She said, ?Yes.?) They have been dating for over a year. Kris is a very nice young man. I am happy for them, even though he did not ask my permission first.

I know the Charmed Ones agree with this.

Vermillion County Judge Bruce V. Stengel, National Super Star

Friday, 1 October 2004 Jacob Tomaw

The AP has published a story that Judge Stengel cannot hear a ballot issue for, what the AP calls, “a key Indiana House race.” He says he must proceed over a murder trial starting Tuesday. I assume this is the trial of the woman and her boyfriend who killed her babydady.

This story has been published in The Wichita Eagle, The State, Miami Herald, and San Jose Mercury. Who knew the Indiana General Assembly was so important in Kansas, South Carolina, South Florida, and Southern California?
