Live from Chicago, It was a Saturday Night Flop
Monday, 29 August 2005 by Jacob TomawSaturday night, Jos and I went along with some friends to IO’s 25th Anniversary show. We bought these tickets far in advance because there some amazing talent was going to be there. Andy Richter (our favorite), Andy Dick, Mike Myers, Tim Meadows, Amy Poehler, and Rachel Dratch just to name a few.
The show started and we could only half hear what was going on. The mikes were not working! This show was in the Chicago Theatre in front of 3,500 people. Not all of them so happy after the show struggled for an hour with crappy sound.
The Sun Times and the Tribune both have pretty good reviews of the show. I think it was ok, but very disappointing.
