One of the statistics about Iraq I am curious about is how many mixed marriages there are. Most of the reporting seems to assume that families are all one or the other, but there must be some mixing, especially in the larger cities. I don’t think I am gong to learning this any time soon. There seems to be a lot less information being reported from Iraq as the Israel-Hezbollah War of 2006 rages on. Maybe after the Israeli war front sweeps through Iraq, after taking over Lebanon and Syria, on its way to Iran, it will be reported.
