I think Americans would be more open to multi-culturalism if it meant more awesome funeral processions and pyres.

I’m not sure what kind of permit you would have to obtain for that type of celebration? I’m sure Daley would charge you an arm and a leg and then what would be left to burn?!?!

Being cremated inside a large pinata seems a bit much to me, even without factoring in the preparatory cremations along the way. I think I could make do with a Thai-style cremation: covered in flammable liquid and set ablaze by fireworks.
