2008 Vote Recommendations: III
Monday, 3 November 2008 by Jacob TomawThis morning, The Republic of Illinois
State Senate
John Cullerton (D), the incumbent is being challenged by Jay Valko (R). Neither one of them seem to care enough to answer any of the voter guide questionnaires I have been using. I usually do not vote for people who do not fill out these forms. Jay Valko also does not have a website. I usually do not vote for people who cannot muster a website. (Sen. Cullerton has one, as part of being in the General Assembly.)
I am torn between not voting in this race and voting for Mr. Valko as a vote for change. I probably will not vote in this race.
State HoR
It is the same story in incumbent John Fritchey (D) vs Susan Radzinowicz (R). No questionnaires and not websites, same sentiment.
This is a case where I should have looked earlier and tried to asked the candidate my self, but I am not convinced my vote is worth the effort.

Jacob,
Both have Web sites - http://www.senatorcullerton.com and http://www.fritchey.com
Also, Ms. Radzinowicz is no longer on the ballot. She withdrew almost two months ago.

And Jacob, my extensive answers to both the Tribune and Sun-Times questionnaires are readily available at each of their respective websites.
