Please, Let it be Rio
Wednesday, 30 September 2009 by Jacob TomawLater this week, the International Olympic Committee will determine which city will host the 2016 Olympics.
I am certain that their decision will be a major factor in if I will be a home owner in Chicago in 2017. It might even factor in if I live in Chicago in 2017; depending on how elastic rent is.
Ben Joravsky, at the Reader, makes a last ditch effort to explain to the IOC why it is in their best interest to not grant the games to Chicago.
Count me as a Chicagoan for Rio.
