Gray Weekend

Tuesday, 27 October 2009 by Jacob Tomaw

Dana, Kristoffer, and Karter visited us this past weekend.  It is always a great time when my sister can visit.  It is also good because I get free content to direct you to because she has a really nice camera, knows how to use it, and blogs every day.  Read about what we did here and here.  Photos are here.

There are two things I would like to call out.

  1. The Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum is a ton of fun for everyone.  We got in free, but I think it would be worth the $9 per adult.
  2. Carving pumpkins is generally fun.  Carving pumpkins is more fun with kits and patterns.  Carving pumkins is most fun when the kits are free thanks to your brother-in-law, who works for the greatest national retailer.  (Go buy a candle, seasonal item, or holiday decoration [unless it is Christmas, he has nothing to do with Christmas].)

Thanks for the call out…agree…your readers should support my 401(k) by shopping at the “best national retailer”. :-)

Really enjoyed spending time with you and your family. Looking forward to seeing you at Christmas!
